We're excited to FINALLY welcome our community to come see our new home and experience a fun taste of Lakota and Native creativity from our community. This free event will run from 3-7PM on Sunday, July 17th at Racing Magpie.

Please bring family and friends to see:

  • Live music by the Carrion Crawlers (rock), the Wake Singers (garage rock), Miller Lite Orchestra (country/western), and Bazille (hip hop). (sound run by Rapid City Gutter Shows)

  • Studio artists - Jhon Goes In Center, Stan Hawkins, Dwayne Wilcox

  • Photography exhibition of Dawnee Lebeau and Jaida Grey Eagle's artwork

  • Local artists - art for sale by Wade Patton (Oglala), Alexandra Romero-Frederick (Oglala), Lorri Ann Two Bulls (Oglala), Ray Rockboy Janis (Oglala), Molina Two Bulls (Oglala), Bryan Parker (Muscogee Creek & Missisippi Choctaw), and Gene Swallow (Oglala).

  • Food for sale - Lakota Sewing Circle (soup), Papa's Frybread Wagon, and Bean There, Done That coffee truck.

  • Hands-on art opportunities - The Rolling Rez Arts bus will be on site with art activities by Mike Marshall (Sicangu) and Charlie and Cinnamon Cuny (Oglala).

All ages are invited to enjoy the festivities and visit our new home. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
